Audiopreview is in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx!
A few months ago, Audiopreview has joined the Debian repositories. This, of course lead to it eventually being added to Ubuntu repositories. And this is what happened.
Audiopreview is now available in Lucid Lynx, which is the new 10.04 version of Ubuntu that is due to be released on April 29th 2010.
If you are already running a pre-release version of Ubuntu Lucid, you can try audiopreview by installing through Synaptics or just type:
sudo apt-get install audiopreview
